If the swelling gets bad and her fingers are getting cold then I guess I would try and unwrap it. I know on my mother's face they removed a cancer spot...(not the bad one) and we got home and hours later it was still bleeding, the office was still open so theyhad to do some cauterizing on her...still have one more to remove...

Glad most of it is done. Hopefully the bottom layer will show no cells...will keep your family in our thoughts...
